Work, Work, Work

Pulling lots of overtime, it's nice but tireing, we are in the end run of this project. The final sprint as it where. One more week and on to the next challange. I am looking forward to flying to Philadelphia later in the summer.

WTF?

So my house was broken into on Satuday, 4 in the afternoon, sunny outside. Im at work and my Girlfriend just left to go to costco some asshole breaks thru my 8'x4' slideing glass door and ransacks my house looking for cash or jewlery (we assume). He didn't find anything and left in a hurry (as our great friends next door called 911) Still the fealing of violation is horrid. And the cost, to just get a new (and insecure) glass door and frame I am looking at $500 for a nice wood french door setup Im looking at $3000. I don't know about you but I don't keep that kind of cash on hand. It more than blows my entire home theater, video game, movie budget for the next 6 months or so. (Home depot 6 month no intrest card) makes it about $500 a month. The thing is he didn't steal anything just break stuff, he was looking for something but didn't find it. I think he was after the Woman who had the house before us, she was an LAPD officer. He was ransacking the upstairs and seemed to stop when he got to a picture of me and my girlfriend and we look nothing like her. Dam this whole thing just pisses me off to no end. Fun 1 year anniversary of getting the house.

In more postive news, We had a blast at the "Oh Shit!" party over at Johns. And Karin won! so she has to use the money to host the next party. We are thinking of throwing a big bash and using the RecRoom of our complex. That way we have lots of space and no allergy issues. Karin made these kick ass creme puffs that people couldn't stop eating, it was pastry, chocolate, fresh strawberrys, and fresh creme. So good!
